Modern Makeover Cambridge
Relocating from Brooklyn to Cambridge, this family of three (and about to be four!) needed a bit more room. When they found this space with a fantastic location and lot, they were thrilled – although the interior left much to be desired. The goal was to create a living space that felt open and airy by expanding and updating the materials. The kitchen was renovated by removing a half wall, adding a generous island, and taking the new cabinets up to the ceiling. The bathrooms were refurbished with modern, chic finishes. Our client embraced a more restrained color palette that carried through the house with the exception of some bright spots inspired by the kids and a whimsical take on modern.
