Revisioned                         Cambridge

We reimagined this 1890’s Newton Colonial with a focus on modern family life. The energetic family of four needed a more functional layout so we shook up the floor plan by swapping the kitchen and the dining spaces.

The larger kitchen is now the center for a family that loves to spend their free time cooking and eating together. We kept the finishes light and clean with textured white subway tile, simple white cabinetry and countertops, with black metal hardware and fixtures. A custom dining table and original photography by the homeowner is featured in the dining room.

Beyond the kitchen, the saturated blues of the living room create the ultimate lounge space for post dinner hangouts. Wallcoverings were added to the staircase and powder room to bring texture and pattern to these smaller spaces. To finish, we used complimentary doses of warm oranges, pinks, and caramel leather throughout.
